The Jayplex private mail exchanger is a private mail server providing email services to jayplex.com.au, as well as other domains that I own.

Email accounts and access to mail.jayplex.com.au are provided on an invitation only basis – mainly to friends and family.

Mail Server Settings

The server name is: mail.jayplex.com.au – the same for both incoming and outgoing.

Ports are as follows, all using STARTTLS:

POP3 – Port 110
IMAP – Port 143
SMTP – Port 587

Webmail Access

There are two options for accessing email using the web:

RoundCube – https://mail.jayplex.com.au/mail

SOGo – https://mail.jayplex.com.au/SOGo

RoundCube is a well developed open source web mail solution which has been a standard feature of most web hosting services that also provide mail. It doesn’t provide a calendar, and it’s contacts list isn’t compatible with Outlook or IOS.

SOGo provides calendar and contacts, as well as mail access, and is activesync compatible, so can provide mail, calendar and contacts in the same way an exchange server would (almost – connectivity to new Outlook versions works, but not exactly the same as Office 2021)
